Spring style moodboard ✨️ 8 months post partum
In a few days I will be eight months post-partum - eight loooong, life-altering months that have passed too quickly.
Baby Francesca is growing up at lightning speed... you should see her: unrecognizable! A proper tiny pizza-munching human! With not one but two adorable teeth! Ah, my pride and joy.
I, on the other hand, feel a little stagnant at the moment... held captive in a body that doesn't show the slightest intention to evolve.
My closet is spare and a little sad: leggings and nursing tops on repeat. Foe the life of me, I can't remember the last time I've worn something... (for) fun.
And while I haven’t “bounced back” - have no idea of what I'm going to look like in a couple of years - I'm in the process of making peace with the (new) body I have right now.
This Spring, I’m honouring that very imperfect and hard-working body by reimagining my wardrobe.
I'm focusing on a few key pieces (I've always been a capsule girl) - mostly dresses - and a colour scheme that goes from soft to bright, just like these warm spring we're having at the moment.
Keywords for the new season are: colourful, nursing-friendly, never clingy.
Ok, let's see what we've got!

Green dress and studded boots for a little tough mama attitude (too bad the dress is not nursing friendly).
My boring maternity leggings need upgrading! These seem comfy but also modern with the cropped ankle length and sligtly flared leg.
More flared leggings, this time from lovely Elsa Billgren.
Give me all the berry shades with a nursing friendly neckline and covered upper arms.
This screams easygoing mom and I'm definitely putting together something similar. The headband is what truly makes it all come together.
I'm not a big fan of H&M, but I found this mix of whites, pinks, cream, browns and jeans really lovely and calming (from Sinead Crowe).
Going in the opposite direction here: bright bold colours and crisp whites. I long to incorporate some yellow and red in my wardrobe asap. The yellow jacket and cropped pants combo is PERFECT.
...and a yellow bag!
What's there not to love in this jeans/caramel combo. I'd wear everything from this outfit.
A nice flowy black dress for late spring drinks on the lagoon. I'd wear it with gold bangles and flower shaped earrings.
A bright orange number with tailored shoulders for a self-esteem push! Accessories are spot on here.
I'm finding carrying a large bust not comfortable nor easy style-wise. The soft, deep neckline of this romantic blouse enhances the volumes beautifully. And might work well with breasfeeding.
A cropped jacquard jacket with an interesting pattern. The greens and yellows here work beautifully the ligth wash jeans.
Olive dress on olive skin ✨️
Wrapping up the post with a sparkly wrap dress and minimal sandals. My evenings are strictly domestic, but you never know what the warmer weather might bring.

What are you wearing this spring? Any nice brands for curvy ladies you feel like recommending?
